Best Acupuncture in Austin

2/3/2021

Nicole Fillion-Robin

LAc, MAcOM, Dipl. OM

So you want to find the best acupuncturist in Austin. If you’re short on time and you want to skip to the part where you book a free consultation for a quick Q&A, click the button below.
Let's find a time
If you want to read a little more about me before you do that, read on!
The great news about Austin is that there are SO MANY acupuncturists in the community and we have strong relationships with each other. The best acupuncturist for you will depend on what you want to address (everyone has their specialties and passions) and location. I always tell my clients that there is no need to stress out about getting to your acupuncture appointment. There will be acupuncture near you.

It’s impossible to say that I’m the best acupuncturist in Austin, but I do offer a free initial consultation so you can see if my philosophy of treatment resonates and make sure I’m the best fit for you.

Here are a few things that make me unique:
  • I specialize in digestive health, mental health, women’s health and pain management. I am a huge nerd about each of these. I go home and read about these in my free time.
  • I am the daughter of a librarian and mechanical engineer. Meaning - the top two ways I show love and care are by providing resources to clients (community support, books, exercises) while being incredibly curious about collaborative problem solving and optimizing how your body works.
  • I am the granddaughter of a Cantonese herbalist. My maternal grandmother, whom we affectionately called “E” (short for The Empress) had a disproportionately large heart she used to care for us with Chinese herbs. Some of my fondest memories include shopping for herbs with my mom before going to their small town.
  • I’m non-judgemental. This is not a tough love clinic where I tell you have to stop eating cheese, bread and everything else you love (unless together we find out those are triggers for you and that’s something we explore).
  • I offer a combination of multi-modality treatments (acupuncture with gua sha, cupping, e-stim, and/or reiki) and quick 30 minutes stress relief sessions. Follow up care is affordable and convenient.
  • I used to work a 9-5 job and I know how hard it is to fit in doctor appointments without getting on your boss’ nerves. I offer Saturday appointments in clinic for that reason.
  • I offer house calls to established clients if, for example, your back betrays you one morning or you have a debilitating migraine and cannot drive.
  • I’m multilingual! Hablo español / français / português and I’m happy to treat clients in either of those languages or just nerd out about languages if that is your thing.

Book a consultation today and let’s get started! If we find that you’re looking for another type of practitioner, I do my best to point you in the right direction.
